Hello Beauties!
Welcome back to the blog!
Today I want to show you my honest opinion on the many eyeliners I tried during these months. Read the entire post to know which one is my holy grail!!!
I want to start with the worst one I used until now:
ClioMakeup is an Italian brand of which Clio Zammatteo is the Co-Founder.
This eyeliner promises a full and precise line thanks to its applicator which is well pointed. At first sight you could think "oh wow this is perfect", but let me tell you it's NOT.
I bought it when I was in Florence, there was one of her Iconic "CLIO POPUP". It was my first product of this brand and the first impression has been very bad!
It has been a perfect mess from the beginning.
This one has a felt point, that is very dry, so it's not sliding (it adheres to the skin and it's impossible to apply the eyeliner as we would love to), as they say, because the product it's not on the point but right in the middle of the applicator. So you have to press it... you can imagine what it means.
The black has not that intensity.
Then after you finally have applied it, you surely have to adjust the wing, but it's better to don't do it because you could pull away most of the wing you've hardly done!
My vote for this product is: 4/10
Now it's time for...
Flyliner by Fenty Beauty.
I was very excited about this one, but it doesn't worth the money.
Unlike the Deeplove by Cliomakeup, this one by Fenty Beauty, has worked perfectly for the first three applications. It is beautifully black, not opaque but shiny (that's awesome!).
It's applicator was fantastic, it gave that precision needed for that perfect winged eyeliner.
But, after these three applications, its point turned out into dry. If I tried to layer it, the first one crumbled.
Since that day, I put it away and naturally I won't buy it anymore (unless they'll change the formula).
My vote for Flyliner is 5/10
not sorry
Thank you, Next!
Life Liner by HudaBeauty.
I believed in this eyeliner. Really I don't know which one of these three is the worst. It's hard to choose. Each of these have their flaw.
This one by Huda, has a strange consistency. Obviously when you open it for the first time, you don't notice this particular.
It's not so bad, but pay attention to your lashes. If it accidentally touches the lashes, it will harden them.
Once opened, it becomes almost gluey. Much strange for an eyeliner! It's not impossible to apply it, but you need a certain ability with the application of eyeliners.
As opposed to the eyeliner, the eye pencil is good. I've also created a look with it recently.
Smudged black liner from:
You have to be very quick at applying it, but the result will be beautiful. It's smudgeproof so after it dries, it won't move (same for the liquid liner).
Side note: I suggest you to remove it by using a buttery make-up remover and not a classic one (ex. micellar water-even if for waterproof make-up- or others.
Personally I used the Clinique one and it works well.
My rating for Lifeliner is:
Liquid side: 5/10 Eyepencil: 6.5/10
I would give it 7/10
for the duration and the intensity,
but i can't because of the formula itself.
NEXT please!
I'm going to talk about...
Cake eyeliner by Kryolan. Have you already tried it? No? Mh... you have to! It has been the first eyeliner I loved!
I used it during my Mua classes and since that time I fell in in love with it!
It is a water liner so it's very lightweight but most important thing if you need to clean it, it's never a mess because even if the colour is intense, it goes away easily.
You have to activate it with water, take the quantity you need with your FAVOURITE BRUSH!
It lasts all day but it's easy to remove; so no particular make up remover is needed. What better?!
Vote for this product: 8/10
Kryolan
Electric Cake Liners by Norvina, is your turn!
These are the latest addition to the Norvina collection (with the pro pigment palette vol. 4 they are the last launch by Norvina for this 2020).
They came out in six shades (divided into two groups, each with 3 colours):
- Neon:
- Electric Orange
- Opaque White
- Electric Purple
- Electric:
- Electric Pink
- Electric Yellow
- Electric Lime
I don't have any particular thing to say about them, except for the fact that you have to avoid using the white above a pigmented pink eyeshadow (because the white absorbs the darkest pigments).
I really love the refined packaging of this product.
Vote: 7/10
Good Job Norvina

The winner is.....
My holy grail Better Than Sex Eyeliner by Toofaced!
I'm going to buy the second one!
It has everything I usually look for in an eyeliner: the right intensity, the fluidity and the shape of the applicator. It's practicle. I use it for my face painting too!
Like this one! Follow me on Instagram
for more looks like this!
I still use it even is almost dry and its point is destroyed (better than the first three eyeliner, anyway!).
My vote for this one is:
8.5/10
(yes in case something better than this will arrive!)
We are now at the end of this post.
These are my personal impressions on these products, so let me know yours!
